We are professional, agile, fast-paced and our goal is to At the Medina County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, we see cases daily that are beyond the scope of imagination -- animals coming from situations of abuse, neglect, and abandonment.
We know we might not be able to save them all, but there isn't a day that goes by where our staff and dedicated volunteers don't try.

- Provide daily care and supervision for animals in the kennel facility - Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their specific needs - Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas daily - Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinary staff - Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel - Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming - Provide basic training and socialization for dogs - Maintain accurate records of animal care, including feeding schedules and behavior observations -Provide general knowledge of animals in our care to the general public and be able to answer questions -Work with the future pet owners in animal adoptions Requirements:
- Previous experience working with animals, such as pet sitting or volunteering at an animal shelter - Knowledge of animal handling techniques and safety protocols - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time - Excellent customer service skills for interacting with pet owners - Basic understanding of veterinary terminology and procedures is a plus - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately - Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed Job Type:
